Today we're taking a Virtual Tour of Victoria, MN, one of the best Twin Cities Suburbs!


A chill, off-the-beaten path, lake/town/suburb if you will, Victoria is a great city with an adorable and walkable downtown area, tons of beautiful outdoor spaces, and very good schools. This is certainly one to check out!

Victoria Vibes


Victoria is home to around 11k residents and is located about 30 minutes from downtown Minneapolis and about 45 minutes from downtown St. Paul. It is bordered to the north by Lake Minnetonka, to the east by Chanhassen, to the south/southeast by Chaska, and to the west by mostly rural townships before reaching Waconia.


The school districts serving Victoria are Minnetonka Public School District, Waconia Public School District, and East Carver County Public Schools, all rated an A+ or A*. Almost all of the schools serving the city are rated an A+, A, or A- with a few B+ rating mixed in*.


In addition to great schools, nice housing, and a cute downtown area, Victoria is nicknamed "The City of Lakes and Parks" as it has over 200 acres of reserved land, 13 parks and nine lakes within its borders. Victoria is also home to the 1,800-acre Carver Park Reserve.

The median sale price for homes in Victoria comes in around $750k, nearly double the Twin Cities median of around $350k. If you're looking for a single-family home, currently on the market homes range from as low as $350k, to upwards of $9m. If a condo or townhome is more your speed, currently on the market prices range from as low as $350k, to upwards of $1.2m. About 93% of Victoria residents own their homes.
