Home to nearly 8,000 residents, Albertville is located about 35 minutes northwest from downtown Minneapolis, 40ish minutes from downtown St. Paul, and 50 minutes from the airport. Albertville is bordered to the north by the city Otsego, to the east and west by portions of Otsego and St. Michael, and to the south by St. Michael.
Generally considered roughly the halfway point between Minneapolis and St. Cloud, Albertville is popular with shoppers coming for the "Albertville Premium Outlets" - home to around 100 stores.
